Privacy Policy & The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The GDPR is a change to the data privacy laws and is effective from 25.5.18.
The new regulation is focused on you, the individual, and how your data is used and processed. It is important we let you know your rights under the new regulation and these are described below.

How we collect information
We collect personal information from you in the following ways:
- From your interactions with us whether over the phone, in person, in writing or through our website or emails
- By reference or word of mouth e.g., recommendation by a friend or colleague
- From thirds parties such as job boards and government and law enforcement agencies, e.g. Reed and Totaljobs websites
What personal data do we collect
We collect information to be able to find available opportunities and information needed to assess your eligibility through the different stages of recruitment.
- CV’s to include address, work history, educational records and references
- Identification documents and bank details (essential for temporary assignments)
- If shortlisted more detailed personal data may be requested e.g. health information, background or criminal checks, remuneration
How we use your personal data
The main ways in which we may use your personal information are to:
- Create your profile on our database to facilitate your job search by matching your skills and experience with a potential employer
- Communicate with you and provide information on specific job roles of interest to you
- Meet our legal obligations
- Send you marketing communications
How the law protects you
Data Protection law says that we can use personal information only if we have a proper reason to do so, the law says we must have one of the following reasons:
- To fulfil a contract, we have with you
- When it is our legal duty
- When it is in our legitimate interest
- When you consent to it
- Create your profile on our database to facilitate your job search
- Communicate with you and provide information on specific job roles of interest to you

Sharing your information
With permission we may share your personal information with:
- Prospective employers
- Referees as supplied
- Credit referencing agencies
- Fraud prevention and law enforcement agencies
- Regulators, governments, courts, and dispute resolution bodies
Retaining your personal information
We will retain your personal information for as long as is necessary for the purposes described above. Typically, we will retain your data for a minimum of seven years to fulfil our business purposes and to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Refusal to provide or request we stop processing your information
If you do not provide the personal data necessary or withdraw your consent for processing of your personal data, we may not be able to match you with available job opportunities.

As well as our obligations and commitment to respect the privacy of your information you also have certain rights relating to the personal information we hold about you.
